This policy explains what personal information Doubles.bet ("Doubles", "we", "us") collects, why, and what you can do about it. Doubles is run by Max Harris. If you have any questions, email max@doubles.bet.
What we collect
- Contact details - your name and email address when you buy a membership or join the mailing list.
- Membership details - which plan you bought, when it started and when it ends.
- Payment information - payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Login information - a small cookie that keeps you signed in to the members area.
- Messages - anything you send us by email.
Why we use it
- To give you access to the members area and send you the Doubles by email.
- To manage your membership, payments and any refund requests.
- To reply to your questions.
- To keep the service secure and working properly.
The legal bases we rely on are performing our contract with you (providing the service you paid for), our legitimate interests (running and improving the service) and, where required, your consent (for example, marketing emails).
Who we share it with
We only share your information with the companies that help us run the service:
- Stripe - to take payments.
- Forward - to manage memberships and access.
- Sendy (running on Amazon SES) - to send the daily emails.
- Netlify - to host the website and members area.
We never sell your information, and we do not share it with bookmakers or other tipsters.
Cookies
We use a cookie to keep you logged in to the members area. It is essential for the service to work. If we add analytics or advertising cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as you are a member, and for up to 6 years afterwards where we need them for accounting or legal reasons. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, unless we are required to keep it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or take a copy of it. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in every email. To make a request, email max@doubles.bet.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
